The first wave of Marvel Legends Avengers Endgame arrived today! And there’s big warning signs that we can’t list it for sale until MARCH 31st! So everyone will have to be patient for another week until we can add it into our store!
As discussed in our prior previews article, there’s some figures we know that are being included: Ebony Maw (who looks absolutely amazing!), Living Laser, Nighthawk, Citizen V, and Hercules! Here are there pictures again from the prior article:
But with the arrival of the shipment of toys, we finally got to see what the final two, preciously unannounced, figures in the set were, as well as the Build-a-Figure, and we most definitely were not disappointed!
First up, and right out of the most recent coming attractions with the new Avengers outfits that the team was wearing at the end of the coming attraction, is none other than the First Avenger, Captain America! The star-spangled hero is sporting a nice shiny new shield like the one he has always had before giving it back to Tony Stark in Civil War. With the new costume it’s definitely a unique and new look at Captain America, and, I have to admit, when I opened the box and saw him I did have a little geek out session of excitement!
Second is Clint Barton’s alter ego, Ronin. In the comics for a time Clint stopped being Hawkeye and took on the persona of Ronin, who was more of a ninja-esque sword fighter. The previews show Clint Barton on the movie in the guise of Ronin, presumably changing his appearance so that “Hawkeye” is not violating the Sokovia Accords and putting his family in danger (that is, if they survived Thanos’s little finger snap!). No more house arrest for Clint Barton. Bring on his Marvel Legends Ronin action figure!
Finally, we have the super-hush-hush build a figure from this set, and it is none other than Thanos, still with the Infinity Gauntlet, but back in his full body armor. The Mad Titan is clearly dressed for action, and I expect we’ll see some pretty amazing sequences in the upcoming movie that will not disappoint!
Which figure in this Avengers Endgame set are you the most excited for? There are two more Avengers Endgame sets coming out this year, so we’re bound to see all of our favorites and any newcomers in the new Endgame updates (after seeing Captain America in the new armor from the preview, I’m now expecting each release will have our core characters in similar outfits! But we shall see!). The set will be up for sale March 31st. Hopefully this preview can help you suffice until then!
