ACB News: New Avengers! New Spider-Man! New Comfy Princesses! New Exclusives!

Huge week for new arrivals (and they all arrived on the same day!). The extremely delayed Tiana, final princess in the Funko Rock Candy Comfy Princess (Ralph Breaks the Internet) line finally arrived. Also from Funko, we got the Entertainment Earth Exclusive Avengers Endgame Ant-Man in (we were told that there was only a 50/50 chance we would get him, so when we opened up the delivery and saw him, that was a rather pleasant surprise!). From the Marvel Legends line, we got two sets in:

Spider-Man Far From Home (or Spider-Man Wave 12). This set has some must-have characters for Spider-Man fans, and includes Doppleganger Spider-Man (when the six-armed Spider-Man came out last set, I had wished that it was Doppleganger instead, and here he is!), Hydro Man, Mysterio (movie inspired version), Scorpion, a pair of new Spider-Man’s (one in his “hero” suit, and one in his “stealth” suit), and Spider-Woman. Together, they come with Build-a-Figure pieces to construct Molten Man.

Avengers Endgame Wave 2 also arrived. I was beyond thrilled to know that Rescue (Pepper Potts) and Shuri were in this set. There’s also a bulkier War Machine that is more in line with his suit from the movie after the time lapse. The rest of the set includes Beta Ray Bill, Loki (comic inspired), Rock Python (continuing the gradual release of the Serpent Society), and Union Jack. Together, they come with Build-a-Figure pieces to construct Dr. Banner Hulk (though I felt that this was a missed opportunity as he looks like he did when he went back in time for the Battle of New York and was pretending to be the “Hulk Smash” Hulk. Most of the movie he had his own wardrobe, including a cool Avengers outfit, not to mention the Quantum Suit. So having another topless Hulk, to me, was disappointing, but this Hulk definitely captures the character and is movie inspired).
