We are thrilled to announce that Todd McFarlane toys has picked up Harry Potter and the Wizarding World for an action figure line. The initial launch, Series 1, will feature Harry Potter, Hermione Granger, Ron Weasley, and Lord Voldemort in their respective outfits worn in the film Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Volume 2. Each has 22 points of articulation, is highly detailed, comes with character specific accessories, and either has a Patronus or animal companion.
This initial launch has been hinted at since February, with only shadowed outlines to indicate what this set will look at. Now though, with a July 2019 release date, we get our first glimpse at this magical set!
All four figures, or the entire set, is now up for pre-order on ACB Toys & Collectibles website.
This initial series is only the first planned by McFarlane toys. These initial figures are all of the 7-inch variety, but there are plans for figures to range between 6 and 12 inches and covering the entire Wizarding World, begun with the Harry Potter movies and then expanded with Fantastic Beasts.
Todd McFarlane, in a recent interview, indicated, “The Wizarding World captures the emotions of its fans unlike any other. Taking the iconic imagery from the Wizarding World and creating figures for everyone to take home is quite an honor for me.”
And we can’t wait to see what else he has in store for our favorite characters and creatures of the Wizarding World! If these initial figures are any indication, this entire Harry Potter line will be a must have for fans and collectors alike!
