While conventions and big reveals have been rather short as we deal with this pandemic, there are some exciting items on the way. This “Preview” will be part of a series of Previews highlighting upcoming toy sets that we either have already been made aware of (and have orders placed for!), or are just rumored. Some items we do already have a handful of pictures for that had been revealed before conventions and expos were shut down, others will only have some vague references. None of these items, even the ones we already have our orders in for, can be listed for pre-order until we get the green light from the manufacturers and distributors. So this is just a preview of things to come. When these items are available for pre-order, we’ll make another announcement and have the items listed for sale.
Our fourth preview is likely going to be our shortest of the bunch, because there have ben NO reveals, NO leaked pictures, and NO information about the figures to be included in the set as best as we have been able to find. All we know is that the Avengers Video Game release by Marvel Legends (which is currently in stock) is having a follow-up wave anticipated to be launched in July or August.
Wave 1 had Captain America, Iron Man, Ms. Marvel, Rage, The Leader, Mar-Vell, and Mach-1, and together they had build-a-figure pieces for The Abomination. Since the first wave had three characters in special “GAMERVERSE” packaging (Captain America, Iron Man, and Ms. Marvel), all of whom are on the cover of the upcoming Avengers video game release, we can look at that game cover and try to “anticipate” who else will be coming out (notably Black Widow, Hulk, and Thor), but that would be pure speculation. Also, since four figures were comic-inspired, there truly could be anybody included in this second wave.
