After receiving our inventory of DC Multiverse Wave 9, the Lex Luthor Build a Figure, we were left with questions…. where was Harley Quinn? Where was Simon Bat Green Lantern? Where was Spoiler? The set only came with Batman, The Ray, Vixen, and Wonder Woman. So we began investigating, and learned that these other three figures were Exclusive releases!
It’s rather peculiar with this release. If you look at the back of the box of the universal Wave 9 set, there are no images of the three Exclusive figures, and the four figures you do get will build Lex Luthor in his entirety. But if you find the exclusive figures, there is a completely different back of the box showing all seven figures in the wave, and some additional pieces to enhance Lex Luthor, including an alternate head.
We are working on trying to get all three of the exclusive figures, but so far have only been able to get our hands on Spoiler, who comes with the alternate head for the build a figure. Her little blurb says, “Recruited by Batwoman into boot camp, the Violet Vindicator joins forces with the top heroes in Gotham City.” Hopefully we will get all of the exclusive pieces and in better quantities, but for now, Spoiler has been added to our Shop.
